Pleasant native Kathy Ursenbach Rowe still can’t explain why the combination on her father’s safe in the Ursenbach Funeral Home was changed after he passed away when no one who knew the combination had done it.
Amy Willden tells of a curious Christmas incident where her young daughter smiled at a candle flaming up to unusual heights, calling, “Hi! Hi!” to a lady that no one else could see.
