Haunts & Jaunts: It’s that time of year…
The first significant snow has fallen in Indianapolis and the Southside on Sunday, with more promised this evening into the early morning hours of Tuesday. Southport Road has become a moto-cross course of cobbled ice the farther east you drive. Drivers making their trek to work have had to reacquaint themselves with a sudden crash course in winter driving. For many, it’s not a pretty exercise. How soon we forget!
It’s also that time of year for paranormal investigative groups. January 2016 will bring about penciling in the calendar. Every group has one. It becomes a frenzied excursion of waiting on hold for long lengths of time on the phone to acquire dates for coveted investigative venues (usually at a premium price) for locations locally, statewide and out of state. Get it on the calendar! Then, there are the numerous gatherings over the year, paranormal meet and greets, and new haunted locations that explode upon the scene. Get them on the calendar! Any paranormal teams worth their salt will be scribbling furiously upon their own personal calendar. It’s the time to schedule the 2016 year of adrenaline rush. The spirits are waiting!
