Paranormal investigators set to descend on iconic Lincoln building
Being built on the site of an old Roman burial ground, it hardly comes as a surprise Lincoln Assembly Rooms has a haunted reputation.
From sightings of a cavalier to the feeling of being touched, many who have visited the County Assembly Rooms have experienced their fair share of paranormal activity.
Those who have worked at the building have reported a number of events - some of the waitresses have said they will not go into the cellar alone due to various noises being heard, chairs move of their own accord in the ballroom and a cavalier has been seen in the doorway and mysteriously vanished.
