EDI (Environment Detection Instrument)RESEARCH DEVICE

1- Ambient Temperature Sensor: Cold spots can indicate paranormal activity. At the top of the device is the temperature indicator with a real-time LED display. Near the display are two LED lights that alert you when significant temperature changes happen (cold spot alarm). If temperature changes sharply in a short period of time (±½ degree within 3 seconds), indicative of possible paranormal activity, the device will alert you with rapid blinking of the top red LEDs.

2- Electromagnetic Field Sensor: Electro-magnetic field detectors (EMF) are arguably the most popular ghost hunting tool. EDI is programmed to detect changes in the electromagnetic field around the device. Two LEDs near the sensor (in the middle of the device) change intensity based on the EMF fluctuations detected. A speaker will also alarm if there is a sharp change in EMF. The speaker can also be toggled on/off by a switch. Works with frequencies from below 30 Hz to above 30 kHz.

3- Geophone: The EDI contains an accurate 3-axis accelerometer, programmed to pick up the slightest movements or vibrations on the surface on which it is sitting. Movement is indicated by lighting up a series of LEDs placed along the bottom of the device. Like a graph, the amount of LEDs will correspond to the intensity of the vibration or movement (from .024 to .122 G's). This can also be toggled on/off by a switch on the device if the device is being used in a hand-held fashion.
