Ordered by ‘ghosts’, man kills rickshaw puller
Mystery:The police suspect Vinod Kumar may be suffering from psychological problems.
Ordered by “ghosts”, a 25-year-old man brutally thrashed a rickshaw puller, who later succumbed to injuries in the early hours of Thursday. The accused, Vinod Kumar, has been arrested.
During interrogation, Vinod purportedly admitted to having killed another man in Unnao on May 17. He hails from Uttarakhand and had come to Delhi seven months ago looking for work.
“He told us that he had nightmares about ghosts and demons telling him to murder people and warning him of hard times if he failed to do so. He seems to have some psychological issues. We suspect he was involved in the murder of an unidentified man in Madhu Vihar in April,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police (East) Rishi Pal.
