Jon Heder leads a team of paranormal investigators in first Ghost Team trailer
The first trailer (and poster) for upcoming supernatural investigation comedy movie Ghost Team has been released.
Directed by Oliver Irving (How to Be) and penned by Irving and Peter Warren (The History of Us), the movie stars Jon Heder, Justin Long, David Krumholtz, Melonie Diaz, Joel Marsh Garland, Paul W. Downs, Tom Schiller and Amy Sedaris and pokes a bit of fun at all those supernatural investigation teams like Ghost Hunters and Ghost Adventures. But, being a comedy, it's actually giving me more of a Ghostfacers vibe. The Ghostfacers are Supernatural's fictional team of ghost hunters.
Set to debut exclusively on Google Play on July 21 before it opens in movie theaters on Aug. 12, Ghost Team centers on a ragtag group of ghost hunters teaming up to do their own paranormal investigation in a potentially haunted barn. When they end up getting separated, ghostly mayhem ensues.
