Spooked slate caverns staff report two ghostly figures
PARANORMAL investigators have been brought in to inspect caverns in Blaenau Ffestiniog after spooked staff members claim to have spotted the ghosts of two miners on site.
Workers constructing the new Bounce Below subterranean playground of nets and slides, set in the 176-year-old disused Llechwedd Slate Caverns, claim to have spotted the ghosts of two miners on site.
Developers working deep inside the caverns discovered a hidden area of disused mine works and a disused kitchen.
They claim that following this discovery their tools and equipment have been moved around and they were hit by sudden icy temperatures whilst working. They also claim to have heard the sounds of pickaxes scraping the walls behind them.
