Mac group investigates paranormal
When things go bump in the night, you might wonder what — or who — is causing those sounds. One group you could call to investigate is Pulse Paranormal, whose members have experience seeking out spirits.
Pulse Paranormal's members have recently split off from the Central Kansas Paranormal Society to focus on their individual areas of interest, which include educating people about the paranormal.
"In our group, everyone has different specialties. We go to old, abandoned buildings... we'll go and investigate and see if we can catch any recordings of spirit voices, shadows, that type of thing," said founding member of Pulse Paranormal Melani Gumm. "If you're not into the paranormal world, you're scared. You don't know; you hear these random knocks and bangs and clinks and clanks in your houses, homes, or businesses and so you freak out — a lot of times, things just want your attention."
