"Nightmares Around Elm Street" Tours Explore Greensboro's Haunted History
GREENSBORO, NC -- Halloween is three months away, but a North Carolina historian aims to keep the haunts happening year-round.
Carolina History and Haunts has offered nightly ghost tours through downtown Greensboro for nearly a decade but recently launched a new promotional campaign to draw attention.
"Ghost stories are not just for Halloween anymore," said historian and tour guide Dan Ridel with Carolina Haunts.
Believers think the "stories" explain several mysterious happenings deeply-rooted in Greensboro history.
