Ghosts Tours gives Florence visitors a paranormal insight
Not everyone was thrilled about having people tour the town of Florence on Saturday, as Ghost Tours were being offered all day as part of the Steampunk Spirit Expedition.
The event was being put on through Barb Brierley, owner of the Spirit Riders Western Emporium.
"We did have one incident this morning, where a spirit attacked a store owner," Brierley said.
Tonya Hammel of Florence and Tom Monaco of Cañon City are two local mediums who assisted with the angry spirit.
Hammel and Monaco are both mediums or people who speak with spirits.
Hammel said that while touring the basement, an angry spirit attacked one of the owners of the Wood Grain on Main in Florence.
