Join a paranormal team hunting for ghosts at Glasgow’s most haunted hotel

Glasgow’s historic sites are often hotspots for paranormal investigators - but this latest ghost hunt takes place in one of the most notorious of them all.

Cathedral House Hotel may be a stunning Victorian building - but it also has a reputation as Glasgow’s most haunted hotel, not to mention one of the spookiest locations in Scotland.

The building, on the edge of the east end and a stone's throw from Glasgow's atmospheric Necropolis, was built in 1877 as hotel housing for prisoners who had been recently released from the Duke Street Prison - so it's safe to say the place has a chequered history.

A number of ghosts have been heard, felt and spotted at the hotel over the years, from a phantom which brushes past people on the stairs to the spooky voices of children drifting down from the top floor.

It’s no surprise, then, that Glasgow Paranormal Investigations are keen to investigate.
